Local knowledge

Water held in the ground like honey in the comb.

Under Stockton lie hundreds of feet of river-laid sand, gravel and clay. Water fills the spaces between the gravels the way honey fills a comb, and a well taps into those layers. In U.S. Geological Survey sampling around Stockton, domestic wells ran from about 60 to 475 feet deep, with a median around 260.

The same study found the valley’s water mostly good but not uniformly so: about 11 percent of domestic groundwater had high nitrate, 9 percent high arsenic, and 13 percent high iron or manganese. And the Eastern San Joaquin subbasin is one of California’s critically overdrafted basins, so water levels matter in dry years.

How we work

Honest work from a company with “blessed” in its name.

Honest from the first call

We tell you what we find and what it will cost before any work starts. Customers mention our transparency about pricing, and we intend to keep earning that.

Quick to call back

A house without water can’t wait. Customers write that we called back within the hour and came out the next day.

Licensed for the whole well

A C-57 license covers the well itself, not just the pump. One company can test it, repair it, deepen it or replace it.

Work we’d put our name on

With a name like ours, the job has to be done right. Clean installs, quality parts, and a system that runs better when we leave.

Getting started

Four steps to water.

Call (925) 518-0442 or send a request. Tell us what the water is doing and where you are, and we’ll take it from there.

(925) 518-0442
  1. Call or send a request

Tell us what the water is doing: no water, low pressure, a clicking pump, bad taste. Where you are, and what’s on the property.

  2. We diagnose first

Pressure, power, pump and well, tested in order, so you pay to fix the real problem.

  3. A clear price

We explain the options in plain language, English or Spanish, and you decide before work begins.

  4. Water back on

Repair or replace, permit pulled where the county requires one, and the system checked before we leave.

Where we work

Stockton and the valley around it.

Home base is Stockton. From there we cover San Joaquin County, south to Modesto and west across the Delta to Brentwood.

Straight answers

Well water questions, answered.

I have no water from my well. What should I check first?

Check the breaker for the well pump. If it has tripped, reset it once. If it trips again, leave it off and call a licensed well contractor: a repeat trip means an electrical or pump fault.

What does a pressure tank do?

A pressure tank stores water under air pressure so the pump doesn’t have to start every time someone opens a tap. It gives the system a cushion, steadier pressure, and far fewer pump starts.

What should I test my well water for in San Joaquin County?

At minimum, test for total coliform bacteria and nitrate. Around Stockton it’s also wise to test for arsenic, and on property with a farming history for the fumigants 1,2,3-TCP and DBCP. Use a lab certified by the California State Water Resources Control Board.

Can my well go dry in a drought?

Yes. In long droughts, groundwater levels fall as more water is pumped and less soaks in, and shallower domestic wells go dry first. More than 1,200 wells were reported dry across California in 2022 alone, most of them in the San Joaquin Valley.

Do I need a permit for well work in San Joaquin County?

Yes. San Joaquin County Environmental Health requires a well permit before a well is drilled, repaired or destroyed, and before a pump is repaired, replaced, installed or sealed. The permit is applied for by the licensed C-57 well contractor.
